Thomas received his PhD in neuroscience from the Penn State College of Medicine in 2006. Following his graduate studies, he began his career in medical education at Curatio CME Institute, where he started as medical writer. Over the next 7 years, Thomas was responsible for the development of many online and live CME-certified programs across many different disease states. Following Curatio, Thomas was hired as a Medical DIrector at the medical education company, RedMedEd, where he continued to develop education across a variety of therapeutic areas. For the last 6 years, Thomas has been employed as a clinical strategist at Medscape Education, focusing on the development of CME-certified programming in neurology and psychiatry.
