Lesley joined AstraZeneca’s Research & Development Organisation in 2019. She is responsible for the Global Inspection Process covering GCP, GLP and GVP inspections. She also leads the QA Regulatory Intelligence activity. Before joining AstraZeneca Lesley spent 17 years at the UK’s MHRA as a Lead Senior Inspector. At the MHRA she was part of the team that developed the GXP Data Integrity Guidance Document. She represented the UK at the OECD and EU GLP working group meetings, where she contributed to and lead on the development of several advisory and guidance documents. She was also involved in training other Inspectors via the OECD GLP and PICs GMP Inspector training programmes.
