Kristin Van Goor received her Ph.D. in Genetics from Yale University and continued her research as a post-doctoral fellow in the Cancer Genetics Branch of the National Human Genome Research Institute at the NIH. She then spent a number of years at PhRMA as the Assistant Vice President of Science and Regulatory Advocacy where she led a broad range of scientific and regulatory advocacy initiatives related to implementation and reauthorization of the Prescription Drug User Fee Act, the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act, and 21st Century Cures Act. Dr. Van Goor has led Regulatory Policy and Intelligence at Biogen, BioMarin and now Vertex.
