Mitchell Berger, MPH, JD, serves as a Public Health Advisor for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), where he contributes to the agency’s work on such topics as mental health and substance use disorder integration, confidentiality, human immunodeficiency virus, and health disparities. Prior to joining SAMHSA, Mr. Berger worked as a Senior Policy Analyst/Consumer Safety Officer for the Food and Drug Administration.
