Mark Lambrecht leads a senior team that is responsible for SAS’ global health care and life sciences market strategy. In 2020, he led the COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Team, a response within SAS to help organizations analytically manage the impact of the pandemic. Lambrecht is an expert in the life sciences industry, including providers, payers and governments in global health care systems. Prior to joining SAS, Lambrecht worked in the pharmaceutical industry and studied at the University of Leuven (Belgium) and Stanford University. He is a bioinformatics scientist specializing as a data scientist for biological and genomics data. Lambrecht holds a PhD and master’s in bioscience engineering from the University of Leuven
