During her 20+ years in civic, public health, and industry settings, Schiffon has had numerous achievements across research, patient access, medical excellence, learning & development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Since joining EMD Serono in 2013, Schiffon has provided global strategic leadership for pipeline programs, launches, and marketed products in neurology, immunology, and fertility. With the intention of optimizing for relative effectiveness assessments, she and her teams strategically generate evidence to demonstrate the value innovative medicines provide to patients and the healthcare system.

In addition to leading Global R&D strategic initiatives, Schiffon is an external thought leader, serving as our company representative in the areas of patient focused drug development and real-world evidence.

Prior to EMD Serono, Schiffon led the first real-world observational studies included in a regulatory submission at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In addition to positions in healthcare and academic organizations, Schiffon worked at Johnson & Johnson and Deloitte Consulting. Schiffon has a MPH in Epidemiology, a BA in Behavioral Psychology & Psychopharmacology, and doctoral training in Health Services Research with a specialization in Health Care Quality and Outcomes.
